I'm writing this as my mom is currently at the movie theater with the kids seeing the new Beetlejuice movie. Tbh, I'm never really excited about sequels and re-makes. Can we just leave a good thing alone? So I'll probably wait to see it until it's free on streaming. And I dunno, but I also feel like Tim Burton's time to shine has passed... Sorry, but maybe just stop now, k bud? Anyway. I digress.

If you know me, you know one of my fave holidays ever is Halloween. Always has been. Always will be. And for (most of) the last few years, I've dressed the kiddos up in Beetlejuice outfits and taken photos of them. And PSA: PLEASE back up your photos to multiple places and frequently. My hard drive broke and I lost about a year's worth of photos (including the ones from 2023) because I hadn't backed them up to another drive or source yet. Thinking about it still makes me want to cry.
